Das im März vorgestellte D-Drive Sports-Monocoque für den Tamiya F103 ist nun erhältlich. Als Material kommt für das zweiteilige Chassis faserverstärkter Kunststoff zum Einsatz. Zu haben ist das Conversion Kit inklusive einer T-Bar-Halterung und einer Akku-Platte für $60, was umgerechnet etwa 42 Euro sind. This chassis conversion is a two piece Fiberglass re-inforced plastic monocoque chassis. The upper and lower halves replace the upper and lower chassis plates on the Tamiya F103RM. For best performance the F103GT „R“ parts should be used to mount the servo.
Also included is and upper battery plate that is a combination of an upper plate and shock mount.The upper plate is wider than the stock piece making it easier to tape your battery in. We have also included our new „T“ bar mount that can be set two ways for you battery. One way is for stick packs and the other is for side by side and lipo type batteries.
The Chevron F1-08 body works well on this chassis along with our High nose body. Other bodies will require test fitting before mounting.
