LRP meldet sich mit dem ZZ.12.X im Bereich der 1:10 Nitro-Motoren zurück. Laut LRP soll der Motor im gesamten Drehzahlspektrum viel Drehmoment besitzen. Ab wann und zu welchem Preis der Tourenwagen-Motor auf den Markt kommt, ist noch nicht bekannt.
Mit einem seriennahen Prototypen des Motors konnte Ronald Völker auf den 2012 Florida Winternats bereits in A-Finale vorstoßen, beim Beijing International RC Invitational Race reichte es sogar für einen Platz auf dem Podium.
We are back in the 1/10 Nitro business after having a successful .12 engine line in the past. Product Manager Andy Krämer focused during the development of the new engine on high torque at low rpm’s but also on high rpm for extreme top speeds that we are seeing in 1/10 racing.
