Von Revolution Design Racing Products (RDRP) wurde ein neuer, drehbarer Carstand aus Aluminium vorgestellt. Der schwarz eloxierte Ultra Car Stand nimmt RC Cars der Maßstäbe 1:12 bis 1:8 auf und kann in der Höhe von 60 auf 70mm verstellt werden. Schaumgummi-Auflagen sorgen zusätzlich für einen rutschfreien Halt der Chassis auf der Halterung.
The RDRP Ultra Car Stand is designed to provide you with a solid base to make working on your car a breeze. The revolving upper platform allows you to place everything from a 1/12th scale pan car up to an 1/8th scale truck while building, maintaining or tuning your car. Two large foam pads keep the chassis plate from moving while a pair of rubber O-rings make for a silky smooth movement of the platform plus they keep it from spinning excessively. Two additional anti-slip pads in the bottom plate make for a secure stand of the Ultra Car Stand on your pit table or setup board. The overall height is adjustable via a spacer and leaves you the choice between a height of 60mm or 70mm. CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for that distinctive stealth look the Ultra Car Stand not only looks cool but also has everything it needs to withstand the rigours of regular abuse in racing situations to make it look shiny for years.

Ein echtes Schnäppchen, schon für unter €50.- zu haben 😉
Ganz ehrlich…das ist er auch wert. Super schönes Design und dann noch von einem Deutschen 😉
Natürlich reicht auch der Billig Plastik Montageständer oder selbst zusammen geklebter Schaumstoff. Aber schöne Dinge im Leben kosten nun mal etwas mehr 😉
Der Ständer hat einen stolzen preis aber ich habe andere Artikel von RDRP und die sind qualitativ sehr hoch und deren preis wert.
Außerdem haben die produkte bei mir einem persönlichen sympatischen Status, weil ich den Designer (auch als Kollegen) sehr schätze.
Die anderen Artikel finde ich auch durchaus gelungen und pfiffig (z. B. den Kondensatorenhalter), aber der Drehständer ist weder ein Design-Highlight noch innovativ. Die Qualität wird schon stimmen, keine Frage. Ich persönlich fand die drehbaren Dinger immer eher unpraktisch, wenn’s nicht gerade für’s Reifenschmieren war – und das hab‘ ich Gott sei Dank hinter mir! 😐

Hat irgendjemand von den geplanten Lenkrädern eigentlich noch mal was gehört? So ein blaues würde sich an der MX-V ganz gut machen! 🙂
